Director – Advanced Manufacturing & Operations Excellence – Operations Technology

Excelitas is a fast paced, dynamic, private equity driven photonics company. We provide solutions across defense & aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, medical device, and commercial sectors with 26 factories worldwide. My executive level role within corporate provides three diverse functions.

Operations Technology – Digital & Physical Automation

• Identify and deploy strategic software solutions leveraging cost-effective platforms. 
• Implement and grow cloud computing architecture for data insight using AWS.
• Identify, develop, and deploy scalable point solutions improving operations productivity using robotic process automation, data digitization, and IIOT 4.0 solutions.
• Guide implementation of physical automation solutions using industrial robots, cobots, and AI/ML vision systems.

Continuous Improvement Regional Leadership

• Manage Asia and North American site continuous improvement engineering groups focused on EBITDA improvement. Typical annual target > $25MM.
• Guide strategy and track KPI metrics across manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain.

Corporate Task Forces 

• Yield crisis intervention, new product deployment issues, & strategic problem solving for underperforming sites where necessary.
